Odd was ordinary: The unusual life of Anselm Croze

Anselm Croze was born in an unusual environment, with his mother smuggling her ducks into the maternity ward. The family lived on a houseboat in Oxford, surrounded by animals including a chicken, a cat, a python, and carrion crow fledglings. In 1970, the family moved to Kenya, first to Limuru living in a double-decker bus, then in 1979 to Kitengela, an area teeming with wildlife. His childhood was characterized by extraordinary experiences and an unconventional lifestyle.
