Official: Bassirou Diomaye Faye Receives the Special Water Prize Trophy of West Africa

Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the Senegalese president, received the special Water Prize trophy at the West Africa regional water forum in Abidjan. The award, also given to Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara, recognizes their commitment to sustainable water resource management, aligned with the Senegalese president's vision for regional water governance. The Senegalese Ministry of Hydraulics and Sanitation emphasizes that this recognition is part of a regional effort led by Senegal, which is presiding over the African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW).
