2nd edition of the Fiankon-Borombo rice festival: The cooperative promotes local rice

The Cooperative Fraternity of the Vavoua Department (CAFVA) is organizing the second edition of the Fiankon-Borombo rice festival to promote local rice cultivation. This event aims to promote locally produced rice and combat the high cost of living. CAFVA has recorded encouraging results in 2026, with membership increasing from 74 to 171 and rice cultivation area increasing from 40.5 hectares to 107 hectares.
