OGSA at 50: Alumni, stakeholders rally to renew school’s legacy

Fifty years after its establishment, Omoluorogbo Grammar School (OGSA) will celebrate its Golden Jubilee with a three-day program from October 29 to 31, 2026. Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Chairman of the 50th Anniversary Implementation Committee, emphasized the importance of preserving the school's legacy and investing in its future. Activities will include an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service, reunions, and mentorship initiatives.

MMG Kinsevere: Over 500 Scholarships Funded and 48 Graduates Thanks to the Community Educational Program

Since the implementation of MMG Kinsevere's educational program, 508 scholarships have been funded, allowing 90 students this year to continue their studies. Among them, René Kafwimbi, who scored 80% on the State Exam, is now studying at the University of Montpellier. To date, 48 beneficiaries have graduated, and the program has expanded access to education in surrounding villages.

Back to school: The caravan 'One orphan, one school kit' brings joy to Boundiali and Abidjan

The NGO 'The Cry of the Widow and Orphan', led by Djibril Diabaté, launched its 6th edition of the caravan 'One orphan, one school kit' to support vulnerable children. In Boundiali, over 120 orphans received school kits on August 30, 2026, followed by more than 150 orphans in Abidjan on September 5. The caravan will continue in Guitry, where over 300 orphans are expected to benefit from this initiative.
