Ogun govt links flooding, gas emission to poor waste disposal

The Ogun State Government has linked flooding and greenhouse gas emissions to improper industrial waste disposal. Governor Dapo Abiodun highlighted that over one million tonnes of waste come from industries in the state, exacerbating environmental risks. Initiatives like the Blue Box Initiative and the Plastic for Cash Programme aim to improve waste management and promote recycling.
