Oil output drops to 1.51mbpd in February as NNPC remits N1.804trn

In February 2026, crude oil and condensate production fell to an average of 1.51 million barrels per day, according to the NNPC's monthly report. The decline was attributed to integrity issues on the Trans Forcados Pipeline and startup challenges post-maintenance. Despite this, total revenue rose to N2.68 trillion, while Profit After Tax decreased to N136 billion.
