Okpebholo links attack on Edo comedian to cult activities

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo says government intelligence links the reported attack on comedian Osagie Idieda, known as MC Porkupyne, to cult activities. The comedian was reportedly assaulted in the early hours of October 24 while returning from a birthday celebration in Benin City. Okpebholo rejected claims that the government was involved and dismissed reports that he had sacked his chief security officer as fake news. He urged the public to rely on professional media rather than unverified social media posts.
