Olawepo-Hashim pledges Naira revival to ₦525/$

Accord Party chieftain and former presidential candidate Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim pledged to restore the naira to between ₦500 and ₦525 per US dollar if elected in 2027. He blamed the current administration for worsening economic hardship in Nigeria, citing rising inflation, unemployment, and declining purchasing power. Hashim also alleged political interference in opposition parties ahead of the 2027 elections and called for greater investment in job creation and youth development.
