Omanga Ousted from Kenya Shipyards Board as Ruto, CSs Make New Govt Appointments

Millicent Omanga, Nairobi Women Representative, has been removed from the board of Kenya Shipyards Limited following a gazette notice by Defence CS Soipan Tuya, effective April 30, 2026. This revocation comes after Omanga announced her support for the opposition's DCP party, linked to former DP Rigathi Gachagua. Meanwhile, President William Ruto made several key appointments and reappointments within the government, including members of the Advocates' Complaints Commission and the Kenya National Accreditation Service Board.
