Omotoso acquittal heads to SCA after NPA wins appeal bid

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has won the right to appeal the acquittal of Timothy Omotoso to the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA). The lower court had acquitted Omotoso on charges of sexual trafficking and rape. The NPA argued that the judge made an error of law. The case will now be heard by the SCA.
