On African Child Day, the Children's Parliament of Beni demands safe access to drinking water

The Children's Parliament of Beni launched an appeal to guarantee children safe access to drinking water on the occasion of the International Day of the African Child. Children travel long distances to fetch water, exposing themselves to security risks in a region hit by insecurity and a resurgence of Ebola.
