One feared dead as rainstorm destroys roofs, walls in Anambra

A commercial tricycle operator is feared dead after a rainstorm caused destruction across parts of Anambra State. The heavy downpour lasted several hours, flooding roads and creating gullies in erosion-prone areas. The operator's body was found near Miracle Junction in Awka after being swept away by floodwaters. Strong winds also ripped off the roof of a filling station in Nawfia, damaging a nearby shuttle bus.
