Onitsha Head Bridge is 60, and somebody is stealing its bones

The Onitsha Head Bridge, inaugurated 60 years ago, is facing a serious threat with the theft of its steel components. Steel members have been cut off, bolts loosened, and expansion joints vandalized. Minister of Works, David Umahi, expressed his anger during an inspection visit on August 27, ordering emergency intervention to repair the damages.
