Only six governors supported Tinubu in 2023 — Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima disclosed that only six out of the 19 northern governors supported President Bola Tinubu's presidential ambition ahead of the 2023 election. Speaking at the Emir of Ilorin's palace, he praised Tinubu's policies and urged for political reconciliation. Shettima also noted that the administration inherited less than $3.9 billion in national reserves, describing the economy as being on the verge of collapse.
