Orangutan mother and infant rescued from wildfire-hit forest in Indonesia

A mother orangutan and her infant have been rescued from a shrinking patch of forest threatened by wildfires in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. This rescue brings the number of orangutans evacuated in Ketapang district to nine in less than a month. Wildfires continue to threaten the habitat of these animals.
