Oriire abduction: How kidnappers beheaded two teachers in our presence - Victim tells court

A witness recounted in the Federal High Court in Abuja how 49 students and teachers kidnapped in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State endured dehumanizing conditions for 56 days. The defendants, alleged members of the Ansaru terrorist group, beheaded two teachers, Deacon John Olaleye and Michael Oyedokun, to pressure the government. The victims, including children as young as one and a half years old, were moved to various locations and faced hunger and severe water shortages.
