Orlando Pirates dominate pre-match festivities in Soweto derby

Orlando Pirates supporters greatly outnumbered Kaizer Chiefs fans at Saturday’s Soweto derby at the Calabash, where black and white dominated the scene. The stadium was nearly full by kickoff, as fans of both teams followed calls to arrive early. Access to the venue and movement around the precinct went smoothly, with few reported digital ticket-scanning problems. Pirates supporters created an intimidating atmosphere for the Chiefs squad.
