Osun poll: APC legal team denies petition before tribunal

The legal team of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State denied filing any petition before the state governorship election tribunal challenging the outcome of the August 15 election. This denial followed the posting of notices of petitions at the tribunal, one of which was attributed to APC's governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, against Governor Ademola Adeleke. Barrister Muideen Adeoye stated that the petition did not originate from the party or its candidate but may have come from individuals within the party without leadership approval.
