Basketball: Generation Espoir wins first national title, CNSS retains women's crown

Génération Espoir from Lubumbashi won their first Congo Cup basketball title by defeating BC Bahari 65-61 in the final held at the Stade des Martyrs gymnasium in Kinshasa. The CNSS women's team retained their national title by beating BC Hatari 61-53 in a match from the Kinshasa provincial league. Both teams will represent the Democratic Republic of Congo in upcoming African club competitions.
