‘Our children are safe’ – IGP flags off Safe School Programme nationwide

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, launched the Safe School Programme at LEA Primary School in Maitama, Abuja, to enhance school security across Nigeria. The initiative aims to improve police-community collaboration, deploying 10,000 volunteers and installing surveillance cameras. PCRC National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan, emphasized the importance of protecting schools, particularly in rural areas vulnerable to criminal attacks.
