Our laws affect only Muslims, not Christians - Sokoto Hisbah denies interfering in Christian worship

The Sokoto State Hisbah Board denied allegations that it introduced restrictions on Christian worship. The board's commandant, Dr Usman Jatau, stated that these claims were false and misleading, emphasizing that the law establishing the Hisbah applies only to Muslims. He also warned that such allegations could harm peaceful relations between religious communities in the state.
