Ouragahio: Mayor Dacoury-Tabley Unveils Development Program for the Municipality

Ouragahio's mayor, Dr Pierre Dacoury-Tabley, outlined the main actions and development plans during the municipal council on September 25, 2026. Projects in education, health, culture, sanitation, and roads aim to improve residents' living conditions in the rural commune of 11 villages. The municipality has initiated ISO 9001 certification to enhance service quality, with improvements seen in civil status processing and revenue collection. The town plans to deliver new nursery schools, cover registration fees for children from poor families, renovate the local radio station, and establish a municipal band.
