Out-of-season rains return: ANACIM warns several regions of Senegal, including Dakar

ANACIM forecasts light to moderate out-of-season rain across much of Senegal from October 30 to November 2, spreading westward and northward. On Saturday, October 30, rainfall is expected mainly in Ziguinchor, Sédhiou and Kolda, with possible extensions to Tambacounda, the south-central regions and elsewhere. Dakar will have cloudy skies, with a 15% chance of light rain during the day. The agency advises farmers and livestock breeders to protect dry crops and fodder and avoid storing crops that are still wet.

They also recall that CDM’s return to operations was conditional on corrective measures, including at least five years of health monitoring and free care for affected people.
