Over 100 pregnant women and young displaced girls receive hygiene kits in Kalemie

Over 100 pregnant women and young girls displaced by war received hygiene kits on April 10 at the Kikongo-Katanika 2 site in Kalemie, Tanganyika province. This project, executed by the NGO Acting for the Protection of Children and Community Development (APEDC) and funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), aims to address needs related to gender-based violence. The beneficiaries also received essential items such as basins and pagnes, which are crucial for their daily lives in precarious conditions.
