Over 3700 people die of Ebola in DR Congo as Outbreak spreads further

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has resulted in over 3,700 deaths, with a 73% increase in cases in North Kivu province. Children under five have the highest fatality rate, exceeding 60%. Despite efforts to improve detection and treatment, many cases are only identified after death, increasing the risk of transmission. The WHO continues to expand its response with nearly 1,400 treatment beds across 49 centers.
