Over 500 students in Bukavu left helpless after school fire

Over 500 students from Uhuru Primary School and Fariala Institute in Bukavu have lost their place of study after a fire occurred on the night of September 2 to 3, 2026. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but civil society fears it may be linked to criminal intentions.
