Oye to Tinubu: Economic growth must tackle hunger, joblessness

However, he urged further measures to translate these gains into lower food prices, productive jobs, and improved living standards. Oye also highlighted that 63% of Nigerians live in poverty and 27 million face food insecurity, demonstrating the gap between national economic performance and the daily realities of households.
