Oyo 2027: Tinubu has no anointed candidate – Adelabu

Adebayo Adelabu, a former Minister of Power, dismissed claims that President Bola Tinubu endorsed any candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 elections. At a meeting in Ibadan, some party leaders proposed Senator Sharafadeen Alli as a consensus candidate, but Adelabu insisted that no official endorsement had been made. He also stated that Tinubu encouraged him to pursue his political ambitions without obstruction.
