Oyo: APC leaders reject outcome of Lagelu LG congress, demand review of process

Leaders of the APC in Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State have rejected the outcome of the recent local government congress, describing it as an imposition. In a petition to the party chairman in the state, they demanded an immediate review of the results and recognition of an authentic harmonized list of local government executives approved by the national headquarters in Abuja. They expressed dissatisfaction over the neglect of stakeholders' grievances and warned that disregard for due process could harm party unity.
