Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, Chairman of the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO) in Anambra State, has begun a 14-day hunger strike in Onitsha to protest the abduction of teachers and students from a school in Oyo State. He appeals to the abductors to release the victims and urges authorities to strengthen security. This is not his first such protest; he previously undertook hunger strikes over the annulment of the June 12 election and the Chibok and Dapchi school abductions.
