Kenya opens cargo tracking to private players

Kenya is opening its electronic cargo tracking market to private operators, ending the Kenya Revenue Authority's exclusive control over tracking seals. KRA has approved 15 private vendors to supply electronic tracking seals under a new multivendor system. This will allow importers, exporters, transporters, clearing and forwarding agents, and bonded warehouse operators to choose their preferred provider.
