Pakistan drops Shan Masood and recalls Salman Agha for Sri Lanka Tests

Pakistan has recalled Salman Agha to its 14-player squad for two Tests against Sri Lanka, while Mohammad Rizwan was left out after the team’s 3-0 defeat in England. Rizwan is under investigation by Pakistan’s cybercrime agency, although the cricket board allowed him to play a domestic match this week. Babar Azam will captain the side in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13 and Lahore from November 17 to 21; uncapped batters Mohammad Taha, Sameer Minhas and Mohammad Suleman are also included. The series is part of the World Test Championship, in which Pakistan sit ninth and last and Sri Lanka seventh.
