Palestine weekly: Gaza marks year of ‘ceasefire’ with more Israeli killing | Israel-Palestine conflict News | Al Jazeera

Gaza's ceasefire marked its first anniversary on October 10, but over 100 humanitarian and human rights organizations say it exists 'in name only.' Since the ceasefire, Israeli forces have killed or wounded an average of one Palestinian every 90 minutes. Gaza’s Health Ministry reported 1,493 deaths and 5,299 injuries as of October 12, with a total of 74,382 deaths since October 2023. Several Palestinians were killed this week in Israeli strikes, including a drone attack near Panda Mall, an eight-year-old girl, a seven-year-old boy, and others, with Israel claiming some of those killed were Palestinian fighters.
