The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) mourned the death of former Minister and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who passed away at the age of 90. PANDEF highlighted Tukur's significant contributions to Nigeria's development, particularly during his tenure at the Nigerian Ports Authority, where he ensured South-South ports operated on equal footing with Apapa and Tin Can Island ports. Tukur also played a key role in African economic development, including his involvement in the establishment of the African Export-Import Bank.
