Parents block KC old boys over concession

Aggrieved parents blocked members of the King's College Old Boys Association from entering the school in Lagos due to the Federal Government's decision to hand over the management of the institution to the association. The association's president, Kassim Imam Ibrahim, stated they were not interested in buying the school but aimed to rehabilitate its facilities. He also mentioned that no teachers would be sacked and salaries would be doubled for those who chose to stay.
