Pastors must rebuke bad governments, not benefit from it - Odumeje criticises Adeboye

Nigerian cleric Chukwuemeka 'Odumeje' Ohanaemere, founder of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, said religious leaders have a biblical obligation to challenge poor governance rather than align with those in power. His comments follow remarks by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who said President Bola Tinubu was 'doing his best' to address Nigeria's security challenges. Odumeje urged pastors to speak boldly against injustice and criticized Nigerians for applauding elected officials for merely performing their public service duties. He also decried the lack of development and corruption among politicians.
