Patrick Mboma: "We are not the only ones on this continent who know how to play football"

Patrick Mboma, former striker of the Indomitable Lions, responded to recent controversy surrounding the Cameroon team after their draw against Congo-Brazzaville, which faced criticism for their performance. He emphasized that African football has evolved, citing recent defeats of countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Cape Verde against weaker opponents. Mboma stressed that many African nations now compete equally with the traditional football powerhouses, and that criticism of the federation and Samuel Eto’o is unwarranted.
