The Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN) has intensified its crackdown on unsafe practices in the drug distribution system by sealing 131 pharmaceutical outlets in Nasarawa State. This action was disclosed by Dr. Suleiman Chiroma, the Head of Enforcement, following a three-day surveillance and enforcement exercise. The affected facilities include 16 wholesale outlets, 31 registered community pharmacies, 51 patent medicine shops, and 32 premises operating without proper licensing.
