PDP and NDC Members Defect to APC as ‘Tinubu Must Stay’ Spreads to Jigawa

Members of the PDP and NDC defected to the APC in Garun Gabas Ward, Jigawa State, at the inauguration of a grassroots campaign office for President Bola Tinubu. They credited development projects and community interventions, including those facilitated through NITDA, for their decision. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, NITDA director-general and national coordinator of the “Tinubu Must Stay” movement, said it would mobilise citizens behind Tinubu’s reforms and anticipated 2027 re-election bid. He also announced plans to support 200 women in Garun Gabas, following a similar programme in Hadejia.
