PDP crisis: Supreme Court okays speedy hearing of appeal by Turaki-led faction

The Supreme Court ordered on Tuesday an expedited hearing of an appeal challenging the nullification of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15 and 16, 2025. The appeal was filed by the faction led by Taminu Turaki, SAN, which emerged from the convention. The panel set the hearing date for April 22, after directing the parties to submit their arguments within five days.
