PDP dumps Accord, backs Fadeyi for Osun Central Senate

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has ended its electoral collaboration with Accord following the August 15 governorship elections. In other political news, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the final list of 18 presidential candidates and their running mates. Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated he is not opposed to the education of poor children in response to Tinubu's aide's criticisms. Additionally, Abdulrahman Haske, an APC chieftain in Adamawa, has defected to the APM.
