Peace in the Great Lakes: Kinshasa mobilizes European partners around the disarmament of FDLR

The DRC, represented by Minister of Regional Integration Floribert Anzuluni, continued his diplomatic tour in Brussels, meeting with EU Special Envoy Johan Borgstam and Belgian official Hubert Roisin. He conveyed a message from President Félix Tshisekedi and outlined progress since the July disarmament protocol for FDLR, as well as the upcoming steps for implementation. This diplomatic effort aims to strengthen regional and international cooperation for peace, in line with the Washington peace accords of December 2025 between the DRC and Rwanda.
