Peace Process in DRC: Floribert Anzuluni Discusses FDLR Developments with Faure Gnassingbé

Rwandan Democratic Forces for Liberation (FDLR) demobilization progress was discussed during a meeting between Floribert Anzuluni, the RDC Minister of Regional Integration, and Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé. Anzuluni presented recent advancements in line with the Washington Accords signed in 2025, with the RDC reaffirming its commitment despite Rwanda’s opposition, which calls for the neutralization of the group. The meeting is part of Togo’s diplomatic efforts to promote peace and stability in eastern DRC and the Great Lakes region.
