Pedals for Peace: Cyclist Miguel Masai Sai forced to change route due to lack of Angolan visa

Congolese cyclist Miguel Masai Sai arrived in Lubumbashi on June 15, 2026, after cycling 4,800 km as part of his 'Pedals for Peace' project. He was forced to alter his route because he could not obtain a visa at the Angolan border in Chavuma. He now hopes to regularize his situation through the Angolan consulate in Lubumbashi to continue his journey toward western DRC.
