Peter Obi condemns attacks on NDC and Obidient Movement members in Delta

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), condemned reported attacks on party and Obidient Movement members and coordinators in Delta State. In a statement posted on X on Saturday, he urged the state government and security agencies to investigate promptly, identify those responsible and bring them to justice. He said political violence and intimidation had no place in a democracy and called for citizens’ rights and safety to be protected. Obi said the NDC would continue to act peacefully and lawfully.
