Peter Obi poses no threat to Tinubu, says David Umahi

Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, said Friday on Arise Television that Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress candidate for the 2027 presidential election, poses no threat to President Bola Tinubu. Umahi described Obi’s influence as “artificial intelligence politics.” He criticized Obi for not consulting South-East leaders before entering the race and said the region has other qualified politicians. Umahi added that a president must negotiate and work with other regions rather than rely solely on support from one region.
