Petrol could hit ₦5,000 under Tinubu, SDP’s Adebayo warns

Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate Prince Adewole Adebayo warned that petrol prices could rise to ₦5,000 per litre if President Bola Tinubu wins a second term. Adebayo attributed this warning to the Federal Government's economic policies, particularly the full deregulation of the petroleum sector and the continued floating of the naira. He emphasized that the depreciation of the naira and the lack of strong local production are major factors behind this projection.
