Former presidential aide Laolu Akande has called on Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, to step aside following the arrest of Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claimed to be Director-General of the controversial Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC). Akande argued that Gbajabiamila's continued presence undermines public trust and the fairness of the investigation ordered by the President. He made the remarks on Channels Television's 'Sunrise Daily'.
