‘Pharaoh can’t lead Nigeria to the promised land’: Makinde’s camp blasts Tinubu

The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation (MDPCO) says President Bola Tinubu cannot lead Nigeria to prosperity and describes his administration as a “Pharaoh-like” regime. In a statement by strategic communications director Richard Ihediwa, it blamed Tinubu’s economic policies for high inflation, rising fuel prices, job losses and worsening hardship. The group promoted Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s RESET NIGERIA agenda, which focuses on the economy, jobs, security and restoring trust in government; Makinde is the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement. It urged Nigerians to reject the APC in 2027, framing the election as a choice between continued hardship and a new direction.
