Photos: Spain mourns Jesús de Miguel, who died after an on-pitch collision

Spain coach Luis de la Fuente and Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez attended the funeral on Thursday of 30-year-old Tenerife player Jesús de Miguel in Navahermosa, central Spain. De Miguel suffered cardiac arrest after colliding with Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono during a second-division match on Monday and died in hospital the following day. The town declared three days of mourning as dozens of people accompanied his flower-covered hearse to the church. Police opened a routine investigation to assess whether the challenge may have amounted to involuntary manslaughter.
